Silent Sanctuary

Silent Sanctuary was formed in 2001 with just three founding members, Norman Dellosa (vocals, guitars), Paolo Legaspi (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Allen Calixto (drums). As a growing band, they experimented in their music by mixing in classical instruments to make a unique sound, adding the fourth member, Norman's high school classmate Anjo Inacay (cellist) to the line-up. In 2002 they were asked to guest in UnTV's In the Raw where Anjo asked Jett Ramirez to create string arrangements for their performance. More string instrumentalists joined them during that single episode. Later, Jett and Chino David (violinists) were both asked as formal members of the band. In February 2004, they released an independently produced full length album in Millennia Bar and Cafe in Kamuning entitled Ellipsis of the Mind. Jett Ramirez later on left the band.
Later on, Sarkie Sarangay took over vocal duties for the band after Norman Dellosa's departure. Jason Rondero, vocalist/bassist of indie band New Modern became the band’s new bassist when Paolo Legaspi left the band after the successful Debut Album called Fuchsiang Pag-ibig.
Anjo Inacay will not be attending their future gigs because he is currently outside the country for further studies for 2 years.

Typecast

Santa Rosa, Laguna was home to New York-style hardcore punk bands since the early 90's. Brought up in a DIY community, the band came together in 1999, initially doing cover versions, after that they started doing their own songs. In 2004, they released their debut studio album, The Infatuation Is Always There, which paved their way to become one of the most influential rock bands in Southeast Asia. With the release of their second studio album, Every Moss and Cobweb, in 2007, the band changed their sound from gritty to melancholic lyrics that turned out to be emo. The band broke into the local mainstream with the single, "Will You Ever Learn", which won Best Song of the Year at the 2007 NU Rock Awards. This success eventually led to the opportunity to open for other popular bands such as Thursday, Shadows Fall, Darkest Hour, Good Charlotte, Saosin, Anberlin, and just recently, All Time Low, Dashboard Confessional, The Used, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Cobra Starship

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Originating in Florida, childhood friends Ronnie Winter and Duke Kitchens started the band while attending an AP music theory class, in 2001. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was officially formed in 2003 after the addition of other members that were currently in other bands. The band name, 'Red Jumpsuit Apparatus', was chosen by the band voting for random words they threw on a wall.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus released a "6 song EP CD that was spread throughout different cities to promote the band in 2005".The band also began to become more popular as they used certain social media (Myspace) to advertise their music. While popular in their local scene, the band found it difficult to secure label support. This is why the band had taken time to write songs for a "period of 18 months before they went into the live scene."As they continued to increase live shows and performances, Red Jumpsuits' fan base continued to build to an almost unheard-of level for a local band. This escalating fan base attracted Jason Flom of Virgin Records in 2005 where they then started to work on their first debut album.
